This Parmesan Crusted Tilapia is just as easy as the rest but we are putting a different spin on it. Now many people have done parmesan crusted chicken or even fish, but we are doing it even easier. Remember…. I like easy. 🙂 Tilapia falls apart easy so we are not going to dredge it in butter and then cheese and bread crumbs. Besides, that is much to heavy for a fish. Instead, we are going to brush it with butter.
You will just melt a few tablespoons of butter and then brush the butter on top of the thawed Tilapia. I like to use my pastry brush for this. If you don’t have a pastry brush, I highly recommend you get one. I just bought a silicone one and I love it.
Then you top your delicious fish with the Kraft Parmesan cheese. Now you can get super fancy and use fresh shredded cheese, but I was using what I had on hand. I have to say…. we loved it!
Then you bake it. I like to turn the broiler on the last minute to get that nice golden brown color on top.
It is really that easy.
Money Saving Tip:
Now I normally buy my Tilapia at Sam’s because it I love how they are individually frozen. I can thaw them in water in about 5 minutes. So from freezer to plate is about 25 minutes. You really don’t have excuses not to eat healthy now. Plus I find it more reasonably priced at Sam’s. If you have any extra tips to help me save on Tilapia, I would love to know. Make sure you leave a comment and let us know.
